Szinopszis:
„Small-net fishing” is a traditional way of fishing along the southern part of the Danube in Hungary. Today, self-sustaining fishermen or small communities practice this ancient trade. The documentary shows the technique preparing and using their traditional tools and presents their knowledge and their respect towards nature. The goal of today’s small-net fishermen is to give this old occupation a chance to survive and also to pass on this heritage and knowledge to young people, to preserve it.
