We used to observe bee-eaters, sand martins, or kingfishers while walking to the river, just like that. Today, we have to cut them for several days if we want to see a turquoise back, or multicolored feathers, reminiscent of a parrot. The film is a testimony of the life of three species of birds on the Slovak side of the Danube. Man has cut off a unique piece of Earth to the extent that it directly threatened. Are we able to stop the destruction? Can we act immediately? We know. One of the richest natural biotopes in Slovakia can and will be a piece of wild nature again. As always. The sand martin, the bee-eater and the river kingfisher all deserve it.
